About Me & My Knifes

After 20 years of gunsmithing and owning and indoor range I decided to retire and move my family back to our home state of Wisconsin and start making knives. I have been making knives since 2002 and traditional pocket knifes since 2006. I make my knives one at a time with all the operations preformed by me. including all aspects of heat treatment

I strive to create as perfect a knife as possible while knowing that I will never fully achieve my goal. Both traditional and modern materials are employed in an effort to produce a handsome knife of true heirloom quality while still retaining the essential characters of a hard working everyday cutter.

My focus is on making traditional pocket knives that retain the look and feel  that fine pocket knives from the "golden age" of cutlery manufacture exhibit. I believe  my  attention to details, studying vintage knives, and customer feedback all contribute to reaching this goal.
